Our dinner at Amrita Garden in Chiang Mai's old city was one of those happy travel moments, where you just sit with a big smile on your face and love the new place you've found.
Amrita Garden is an adorable organic vegan restaurant located down an unlikely-looking alleyway in the old city. There is a downstairs garden with a large wooden swing that hangs over a tiny stream of water and an area with cozy bean bag chairs, in addition to traditional tables and chairs. Upstairs is a bar-type seating area as well. It's all so quaint and beautiful, a really wonderful place to grab a meal.
Amrita Garden serves organic vegan food and features macrobiotic menus, homemade kombucha, and enzyme sodas to give you even more healthy options for your meal. Our girls loved the hummus, and the veggie burger was delicious! The tempeh appetizer and cashew-based "feta" we got were not our favorites so much. :)
The veggie burger, hummus, and wonderful atmosphere and fun for our girls are definitely enough reason to bring us back though! 💜
