Snowbuff Coffee is a fantastic lunch / coffee spot outside of Chiang Mai, in the Mae Rim area. It's an eclectic place with a front porch with swings, a British-themed front room, a side porch with nest-like wooden orb swings, and a huge screened-in back porch.
Snowbuff Coffee's menu features coffees and teas, Italian sodas, and Thai dishes like fried rice or noodles. However, the clear choice for our girls was the toast with various sweet dips (chocolate, green tea, and red tea). It was all delicious!
The highlight of Snowbuff is the setting and the wildlife - the back porch opens up to a huge view of a pond with waterlilies, and there are two water buffalo, plus many goats and sheep. You can buy carrots to feed the goats and sheep, and the youngest kid (goat :)) can fit through the fence and will come out to personally greet you and eat from your hand. You can also take a 15-minute ride / photo op with the water buffalo.
Snowbuff Coffee is a quarter-mile from the Elephant Poopoo Paper Park and Tiger Kingdom, and it's part of the Jirung Health Village. It's a spot guaranteed to entertain families, and it's the perfect place to grab lunch or a snack before visiting the attractions that are literally right down the street.
