Since I discovered blogging I make it a point to blog at least once or twice per week. Reason: Google is constantly looking for new content on the Internet.  

Can you think of a better way to give Google what it wants than by regularly updating your blog?

Not only do you keep Google happy, but your blog is one of the best ways to engage your customers and potential customers on a personal level. It is also a good focal point for your online marketing keywords in your online marketing campaign.
